This subject Agriculture is defined as the art and science of growing plants and other crops and raising animals for food, other human needs, or economic gain. In secondary level, the concept taught introduces students to the broad topics related to the production and business of agriculture. It is a hands-on subject that lets you investigate and explore ideas, systems, issues and challenges in agriculture. It also develops skills in planning and evaluating, problem solving, decision making, crop husbandry, livestock husbandry, value adding and entrepreneurship.
