It has two well-equipped Science Laboratories, Computer lab, Industrial Arts rooms, Home Economics Centre, a Library, and Departmental staff-rooms, a Pavilion, spacious Hall and a Multi-purpose Court as some of the facilities which contribute towards making a good institution. Formal education is provided from Years 9 to 13 at the College.
The College is co-educational and multi-racial school. Over the years it has aimed to provide holistic education suited to the needs of the students and the community, where academic emphasis is important together with sporting, social and cultural support. The college has aimed to provide an education which prepares a person for tertiary education, which helps students to fit into society and make a useful contribution and to develop self-respect and concern for others.
The students are also taught that they must take responsibility for their own decisions or actions. Discipline in all its meanings is insisted on and there is an emphasis on such standards and values as honesty, reliability, courtesy and tolerance which are embodied in the college mission and motto: EDUCATION IS TRUTH AND KNOWLEDGE.
There are about 1054 students attending Rishikul Sanatan College with 60 academic and 7 ancillary staff to teach and support them. The college amongst a few very large secondary schools in the nation is recognised as
